SHOULDER ALIGNMENT - WHAT DO YOU SEE? WITH PAUL HURRION
Paul's methodology dictates that the putting stroke is controlled by the gentle rocking of the shoulders. Clearly, for that to produce a stroke that runs in tune with the target line, the shoulders must be square to that line at the set-up.

PUTTER 'RISE' ANGLE WITH PAUL HURRION
In a sound stroke, the arms and the body work 'together' throughout to create a pendulum-type motion that sees the putter stay relatively low to the ground, back and through. A common mistake is stoking 'up' on the ball in the mistaken belief this promotes over-spin. That flies in the face of true mechanics, as Paul explains with a final drill.

EQUAL BACK-AND-THROUGH WITH PAUL HURRION
Making a stroke of equal length back and through serves to optimise the acceleration of the putter into the back of the ball – and so helps you to impart a consistent 'roll' on the ball and control the pace of your putts. Here, using tees as a guide, Paul demonstrates how working on this improves your rhythm
